It's hard capture Deyner's size in a picture. I stood him next to Triple and Rising to try to get a comparison to a 60-65 lb greyhound. Despite his size, Deyner is so easy to have around - he's calm and not at all destructive. He's amazing!
Deyner, and his littermate Kyvin, were adopted in 2005 by the same family, but circumstances beyond their control have led to both coming to GPA Nashville in search of a new family. Deyner is the "BIG brother"! He's just a little heavy at 99 lbs. Deyner retired in July of 2004 with a broken right hock. The fracture was surgically repaired, and he has just an occasional mild limp now. Deyner has lived with cats, small dogs and chickens, and older children. He's described as friendly and playful, but is generally mild-mannered. He travels very well in the car, and but will need some patience learning stairs. Watch Deyner's blog for more about this wonderful boy!
